Quick and Easy Organic Biscuits

In my ventures to make the perfect bread, I have tried several brands of organic flour. I did some digging on and found this brand, Great River Organic Milling. It is much more cost effective to buy in bulk from them so I took the leap on one of their flours with 5 star reviews. I made bread with it for the first time and fell in love. I do not think I will ever go back. I sure hope they never go out of business!

3 cups of Great River Organic Milling Lily White Bread Flour

1 ½ tsp baking soda

1 ½ tsp cream of tartar
1 1/3 –1 ½ Organic heavy cream

10tbs melted grass fed or organic butter

¼ tsp salt

Mix the dry ingredients together. Pour in melted butter and mix with a fork until evenly mixed. Slowly mix in the heavy cream just until it turns into a dough. Knead only a few times with your hands until a ball is formed. Break off pieces and shape into biscuits. Place on greased baking sheet and bake at 425F for 8 to 10 minutes. You do not want to over bake the biscuits.
